Information shipping and conditions
1) We offer Free Drop Off Service in 5 boroughs of NY (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx and Staten Island) and parts of New Jersey, Long Island, Westchester, CT, PA * (depending on shipping ZIP code) FREE NEXT DAY delivery in New York!
* - if the total cost of the order is less than $69.99, the shipping will be $9.95 regardless of the state.
2) For the customers of all states, except for NYC and parts of NJ, CT, PA, a curbside delivery (Curbside delivery service provides delivery of your item(s) to the curb at the end of your driveway.
This service does not include set up or assembly of items or removal of packaging materials.
1. Your item will be shipped to a local delivery terminal.
2. The delivery terminal will call you when your item arrives to schedule a delivery appointment.
- Deliveries are made between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Friday and will be scheduled as a 4-hour window.
3. Your item will be delivered on a lift gate truck and will be taken off the truck by the delivery driver.
4. Upon delivery please inspect your item(s). You will be required to sign a Proof of Delivery receipt. Please note any damage to the item or packaging on the delivery receipt or, if refusing delivery due to damage please note refused due to damage on this receipt.
5. A signature is required for all deliveries; the driver is unable to complete delivery without a signed delivery receipt.
Please note, if you live down a road or driveway that the delivery truck cannot access without causing damage to the truck we will be unable to complete delivery) with Flat rate shipping $200 is offered.
3) We also offer Furniture Assembly Service if the shipping address is located within 20 miles of our Showroom. Terms and pricing of Furniture Assembly are agreed over the phone.

FurnitureNYC.net also do professional Home delivery and installation services which includes: bringing the merchandise inside your house, unpacking, assemble and placement it in the room of your choice.
Home delivery and installation service is free if your order is over $1500. If the price of your order is lower, the service usually costs about $50-$100 (it may costs more depending on its complexity). Get more information by the phone
Also, we ask customers to inform us in advance if there are any difficulties in delivering the furniture to Your apartment, for example narrow corridor, small elevator or the furniture needs to be carried for long distance: additional handling charges may be applied. Commonly we add charges only for the flights of stairs in multi-storey buildings with no elevator.
4) Would like to know how long it will take to receive the furniture?
The delivery may take from 2 up to 5 business days on availability.
For local deliveries in New York and New Jersey we use our own trucks that make the delivery faster and cheaper.
Delivery takes from 2 to 5 days from the date when the status of your order is "Processing"
5) Your order will be delivered via one of the following shipping companies:
UPS Ground, UPS Freight, FedEx, USPS or other Common Carriers.
6) Shipping addresses in New York State are charged 8.875% tax, for all other states no sale tax.
7) If you are not completely satisfied with ordered item, you have 10 days to return it in new condition and original packaging. You, the customer, are responsible for the return shipping. Once the merchandise is received at our warehouse and inspected, we will refund the purchase price (shipping not included) less a 20% re-stocking fee. Your credit will be processed within 1 week.
We will not charge a fee on canceled orders that have not been processed! We normally process all orders within 24 hrs.
It is important that you inspect the furniture for damages upon delivery; if an item is found defective, we will repair or replace it at no cost to you.
Mattresses are not returnable once removed from plastic bag. Mattresses that have never been removed from original bag can be returned up to 7 days after date of delivery. There is a 20% restocking fee that will apply for any new returned mattress.
Why are orders processed longer than expected?
The first reason is that the product is no longer available or not in stock. It could have been bought just before you made the order, and now we are waiting for the new arrival of goods from the manufacturer. Usually a delivery takes from 5 to 7 days, but if the manufacturer warehouse is far away from us it can take from 10 days to 3 weeks.
The second reason is credit card fraud. For this reason, we ask the owner to confirm the credit card, or use other options for the safety of your money and secure shopping.
You know the address and telephone number of our store, so you have nothing to fear, as opposed to us.
The third reason - it's the weather conditions (but it is the rarest reason). It happens that the terrible weather does not give us the opportunity to get to the warehouse and deliver the goods.
Special Order products are subject to a 50% charge
If due to arrangements of your home it is difficult to maneuver a piece of furniture in narrow halls, doorways, stairwells, etc… we cannot be responsible for damage to the furniture, floors, or walls. We cannot be held responsible if your order does not fit into your home. You cannot refuse or return your order for this reason. If you have purchased from us a special assembly package, all the furniture must be inspected immediately upon assembly completion for damage.
Only at this time can a damage claim be filed. It is solely the responsibility of the customer to transport returned merchandise to the store. We can arrange a delivery service to pickup merchandise that needs to be returned or exchanged for an additional fee which is paid directly to the delivery service.

Also, the type of credit card, card number, expiration date, credit card billing address, contact phone number and shipping address if it is different from the billing address.
